ALBANY — State leaders said on Sunday that they expected to pass another short-term emergency spending bill on Monday, averting a government shutdown, though they could not say exactly how they would muster enough votes in the narrowly divided State Senate to do so.
At the same time, negotiations over a broader budget deal appeared to have broken down anew, with Gov. David A. Paterson resisting a legislative proposal to cancel some of his proposed school cuts in exchange for accepting an administration proposal to eliminate a pool of unrestricted aid to New York City.To view the rest of the story click on the following link:

The president of Oneida County's farm bureau warned that 1 of every 10 dairy farms in the state could fail in the next six months if something isn't done.

Ultimate Journey made it home alive.
