Albany, NY -- New York Farm Bureau Wednesday endorsed new legislation that would mandate a 24-hour day of rest for farmworkers.

WATERPORT -- Fifteen years ago Sergio Rosario knew one word in English: "hamburger."
Rosario left Mexico to work at a fruit farm in Orleans County. He would add to his English repertoire, and he would gain promotions at his job, going from fruit picker to tractor operator to semi-truck driver.
